Medical TV Presenter

Location: Birmingham
Contract type: Casual Worker
Salary: £13.50 ph

We’re seeking confident medical and dentistry students to join us on a casual basis to produce online content for our online player MEDICPLAYER.com.


As a presenter you work with our film & edit team at our studio in Birmingham to produce a variety of recorded and live content aimed at both 14-19 year old aspiring medics as well as those studying biomedical and health related university courses.
 

You will work with our content team to help shape and plan the content offer, having access to a whole suite of online resources and studio equipment. No former experience is required, you must be well presented, confident and have a solid understanding of human anatomy with clinical application.
This role is ideal for a first, second of third year medical or dentistry student seeking to supplement their income.


Full training and uniform/costumes provided.

Event Support Staff

Base Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire

Contract type: Casual Worker

Salary: £11.00 ph

ITAE Productions are seeking Event Support Staff to assist with the operational delivery of live events beginning on 10th July 2021. ITAE Productions were recently featured on BBC Dragons’ Den and are backed by Deborah Meaden & Peter Jones, we are a successful events business with a ‘can do’ culture, our success is down to our energetic and enthusiastic CEO supported by the wider team driven by a solution focussed outcome-driven ethos. Joining our team you’ll be working with industry experts that have worked with other large media providers including The Discovery Channel as well as the BBC. Our team of Event Support Staff work away from home on our live shows which are held at schools, colleges, universities, conference centres and hotels UK-wide. You will depart from our operations centre via our night-liner tour bus and stay away from home often for several consecutive nights on tour on our award-winning live events.

 

What’s required as part of the role

  • Staying away from home for several nights

  • Travelling and sleeping on our 12 birth tour bus while away

  • Unloading and loading company vehicles

  • Driving of 3.5t vans

  • Setting up of event equipment 

  • Operating audio visual equipment (training provided)

  • Working front of house to manage guests and queues

  • Undertake resetting of equipment & undertake cleaning

  • Derigging event equipment

  • Packing flight cases

  • Lifting and moving heavy equipment 

  • Loading vehicles 

 

Personal skills

  • Excellent communication skills, energetic and positive

  • Smart, presentable and a good time keeper

  • Be tidy and respectful of other crew members 

  • Be a dynamic problem solver

  • Be able to adapt and think on your feet 

 

Additional extras 

Driving hours are paid at an additional £2.50 per hour. 

The company will provide a £10.00 meal allowance per 24 hour period you are working away.

 

You must meet the below criteria to apply for this role

Be able to pass an enhanced DBS

Hold a valid UK driving licence with 5 years driving experience

Experience in the events industry is desirable but not essential, full training and uniforms will be provided

Media Channel Director

Base Location: UK

Contract type: Permanent, Full time 40 hours per week

Salary: £28,000pa rising to £32,000pa upon completion of probation + £18,000 KPI linked bonus scheme paid monthly 

ITAE Productions Ltd is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and diverse Media Channel Director to scale up the online channel arm of the business. You will own the go-to-market strategy for fast growth of our online channel www.MEDICPLAYER.com. You will be responsible for strategically increasing revenue, overseeing the production, edit and streaming of content as well as working with our in house graphics and marketing team to produce high quality content and to grow the audience base internationally. As a member of the senior management team the business will place trust and responsibility in you to drive both quality content and growth according to KPI’s. Due to the nature of this role this is open to applicants UK-wide and will be a blend of work from home and from our studio facilities in Birmingham. ITAE Productions is the media arm of ITAE Group a BBC Dragons’ Den backed business owned in part by Deborah Meaden & Peter Jones. You will join an agile team of industry experts and be coached and mentored by our award winning CEO Sam Piri, joining ITAE Productions can later offer career development in media & TV as well as wider opportunities in our investors’ portfolios.

 

About the role 

  • Devise an effective go-to-market strategy for the promotion of the online channel www.medicplayer.com

  • Work with the wider team to plan a budgeted broadcast schedule

  • Line manage the production manager, coordinate and oversee the production and live stream of high quality asset content

  • Find, build and develop relationships with promoters, reps and resellers in the medical education space

  • Work with the wider senior leadership team to optimise the current contact network for growth

  • Analyse user behaviour online and optimise for growth

  • Plan channel asset content, control budgets and resources

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and optimise the growth strategy accordingly

  • Develop an understanding of international markets 

 

About you

  • Demonstrable track record of achievements and performance against targets

  • Be able to succinctly talk through previous successes, the implementation of sales processes

  • Experience in the audience growth online channel growth 

  • Ability to manage and oversee a team of people

  • Demonstrate a record of implementing growth strategy 

  • Confident to pick up the phone and begin networking

  • Solution focussed and outcome-driven

  • We are looking for somebody to jump in, learn fast, drive change and increase sales

  • You do not need any former medical knowledge or background to apply for this role. The channel director will organise and implement growth strategies to drive an increase in online sales
