Many guests may be aware that Samuel Piri our lead anatomist sustained 2 fractures to the bones of his foot. In particular the cuboid bone and the 5th metatarsal. The metatarsal fracture was in the area of the bone known as the metaphysis, this area is avascular meaning there are few blood vessels to aid in the growth of new bone, and in many cases results in non-union.
Following a follow up X-Ray it has been decided that Samuel will have the bone pinned surgically, to ensure the bone achieves full union in the correct orientation. This procedure has been scheduled for 19th May 2017, with this in mind it will have a significant impact on the logistical arrangements regarding the Anatomy Lab LIVE show affecting the Belfast event.
All ticket holders have been sent an email explaining the event has been postponed. A full refund has been processed and will reach all ticket holders within the next 7-10 working days. All ticket holders will receive an email 7 days before the new Belfast date is announced allowing advanced ticket purchases before the date goes live.
We anticipate announcing a new date in June, with the event being scheduled for later in the summer. As this date is a reschedule, the main show branding will continue to feature Liverpool as the last show on this tour, however Belfast will occur after the Liverpool event.
We understand the disappointment this may cause and will endeavour to get the Northern Ireland show published and live as soon as possible.
Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
